We had an excellent burger (not too big) and pulled pork sandwich here for lunch. Although very busy, the help was very friendly. The macaroni salad is home made and very good.

We ate breakfast here one morning. Not only were the breakfast items delicious, they were reasonably priced. The servers in this restaurant were very friendly and took care of the customers. Breakfast items consisted of combo platters with meats, eggs, French toast, etc. Definitely a...More

Grabbed lunch between games at Cooperstown Dreams Park. Got burgers and sandwiches. Very ordinary-was a little disappointed after reading the reviews. Service was mediocre: our waitress got caught up in "doing the board": writing the specials on the wall, while we were waiting for drink...More

No wait to get seated and service was good. Variety of breakfast options from hearty to light. No biscuits though. Pumpernickel bread and breakfast sandwiches were very good.

We went here twice for breakfast. Great breakfast for the money. The first waitress we had was great. She even warned us not to mistake the syrup container for cream as they were very similar. So what happens, my boyfriend started to put syrup in...More

This is one of the better destinations in downtown Cooperstown. Great breakfasts-ask for the specials list if its not posted.Vegetarian options are plentiful. It has a large full bar down one wall, and it was nice to see baseball fans at 10 am throwing down...More

Well meaning wait staff, but just not ready to handle the crowds of Induction Weekend. Sandwiches are good...the Turkey BUT hit the spot, but there is nothing inventive or overly inviting about this place. Great in a pinch.

This restaurant is bustling during the day and will typically be really noisy because of kids. We ate our dinner here after spending a few hours visiting the HOF museum. Because we were at the restaurant an hour before dinner time, there was not a...More

I'm guessing the kitchen just isn't large enough to do it differently. If they had a weekend buffet geared to volume breakfast food that might also be a factor.

The Doubleday Cafe is open year round, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. We offer a chalk board of specials for all three meals. With seating of about 70, we also offer a fine selection of beer, wine and top shelf liquors. Our goals are to serve the freshest food, along with the best service, at the most reasonable prices. The Doubleday celebrated it's 20th anniversary in 2011.
