Sad, outdated, depressing decor to compliment the sad, depressing food. The signs behind the diner saying 'good food', etc. look to be about 50 years old. Clearly a sign of things to come..

We've been going here for almost 15 years. It is very close, and offers solid diner food. We are always seated promptly, and get our meal in a reasonable amout of time. Value is about average for the diner experience. One negative - the stuffed...More
A group of us stopped in for some dinner (should have read the other TripAdvisor reviews before we did). The decor is 70's, that didn't bother us, as long as the food was good. Everyone ordered the usual, cheeseburgers, eggs, etc. I spotted Deep Sea...More
Interesting decor, decent food, good breakfast specials, good wait staff. There are better diners nearby but it's not bad.

Nothing to dislike. Stop many times for great breakfasts well worth the price, weekday am specials are the way to go. Dinner has always been delicious and value intent. Going hand in hand is the service and concern for the customer satisfaction.

Went here after getting our car serviced at a nearby dealer. I had the Western Omelet and he had the Eggs Benedict breakfast specials. Both breakfasts were very good. Service was prompt and courteous. While the decor ISO on the dark side, dark wood, dark...More
Someone once said a diner is one place you can eat where they can make everyone happy. Or maybe my son said it. He was certainly happy Friday night at the New City Diner in Cortlandt Manor, NY. As was my daughter, my wife and...More
