The staff were really friendly and helpful when I called in for coffee. I had a croissant with my coffee - it was all delicious but at over £6 pricey! The shop is wonderful too - but again very expensive.

Travelled to midhurst and stopped to have a look around the farm shop. Saw they had a cafe so we thought we'd stop for lunch. We ordered 2 regular coffees and 2 bowls of soup. The coffees came with hot milk and were lovely. The soup was tomato, chilli and chick peas. It tasted awful. It was like hot water... More

We could only manage coffee and cake, so sadly could not order something from the delicious lunch menu, however the cake selection was truly tempting and included gluten free and dairy free bakes. My carrot cake was feather light, and my husbands chocolate cake met all his expectations. The coffee was delicious, this is praise indeed as we are very... More

Nice place, we stopped off here for coffee and cake. Obviously popular as it was quite full. The coffee and cake were fine, but I felt that a bill for £13 was a bit steep, with a small coffee starting at £3+. Maybe that's what subsidises the polo!

The 'Gang of Three' decided to do and finish a Saturday afternoon over at the Cowdray Farm Shop and café. It was dismal and the afternoon was rapidly drawing to a close: the very cheery waitresses, however, did their best to brighten things up! The place was very busy but our orders were quickly processed - especially my daughter's overcomplicated... More

On a recent Friday morning my husband, daughter and I decided to visit Cowdray Cafe for brunch. What a disappointment! The avocado, cayenne and lemon on sourdough toast with an add on poached egg was, to my mind, a ripoff. No sign nor taste of cayenne and only a faint hint of lemon. Not sure if they had a shortage... Whilst visiting friends in Midhurst recently we went to the Cowdray Cafe for lunch, probably best to book a table, it was full and there were a few people waiting before us but within ten minutes a table was ready and we sat down to a very enjoyable lunch. Interesting specials of the day and two of us opted for... More

a Busy and friendly cafe serving good food and coffee but the service suffered and we had to chase the coffee.

We visit this place often and love it. You may even spot our local celebrities popping in. The food in the cafe is lovely and home made. They have a little play area for small children. Dogs are allowed outside. The shop is great for local produce, bit expensive but worth it. We always buy our Christmas tree from here.... More

Visit to Cowdray Cafe on Sunday afternoon at 15.30 only to discover that they had no cheese scones and only one fruit scone - we were a part of 12! Not much cake on offer either. Very disappointing. This is not the first time. We have visited this cafe in the past when there was also a lack of scones... More
