the food here is wonderful and the staff is so friendly. had salad and pizza -- salad was fresh and tasty, and the pizza was very good!

OK in a pinch, but when I think Italian Borrelli's doesn't come to mind. I've been there 3 times for private parties and the food was consistently ok, nothing special just ok.
While it may be a monument of East Meadow I did not find the restaurant so impressive. The food is standard southern Italy food. Greasy and very saucy. Enjoy as you wish.
