not always open, fast service, a lot of seating but never enough chairs, lots of booze which distracts from a nice civilized meal, good to order out and leave with.
We spent some time trying to find this taco place. It looked very popular and busy. However, probably was aimed at young people and not great for a family. There was an enormous queue for the tacos so we left.
In the summer of 2014, this "outfit" moved to Beach 87th Street between Beach Channel Drive and Rockaway Freeway (closer to the Freeway). More room to sit and enjoy (and wait for) the food. Fish tacos are the best anywhere and chorizo tacos (I'm told)...More

this place is cool and the food here sooo yummy, don't miss this place if you are nearby there. i love the environment inside.
While the tacos are good, they aren't 5 bucks good. To an extent you are paying for the novelty of eating a Rockaway Taco while in Rockaway. The guac is the best thing on the menu.
So this is one of my favorite places to visit in the summer...... They have the best fish taco I've ever had and the Guacomole and chips are amazing on an occasion they have fresh coconut water served out of the coconut....... Not into that?!...More
Not sure why they get such long lines for average overpriced tacos...They were decent tacos but nothing to write home about.
