You must come in hungry for the Sunday brunch as there is an amazing selection of foods to eat!! Traditional breakfast items like eggs, pancakes, bacon, and pastries, plus many other hot dishes! Also salads, bagels, hot dogs, desserts!! Something for everyone in a nice casual atmosphere! And of course, a nice selection of beer & drinks! Come watch Sunday... More

Good food, great atmosphere and good service! The cozy fire place is great. If you have people who don't like German food, the American food is great too! Sunday brunch is awesome but make reservations before you go. A week before at least. Black Forrest chicken is the best.

My 3 friends and I went to enjoy Oktoberfest. We thought the beer was a good craft beer, not great. Blue Point beer WAS great. The best privately owned on Long Island is Long Ireland beer in Riverhead. I ordered the Plowman's Platter, It is knockwurst & bratwurst, sauerkraut. It was good. The experience was not the best. It was... More

The service is very good, our server Meg was very nice and efficient. The apps were good and the dinners were average. The sauerbraten was good as were the sausages . They had the Austrian Boys playing outside and it was a lot of fun.We would go back.

Mom and I were there to celebrate Oktoberfest. Place was packed but very orderly. Glad I made reservations in advance as the walk in wait list was quite long. Food and music was excellent. My only complaint was their dumplings, a bit too gelatinous. Otherwise it was a nice evening with mom..

We come here often and especially in October. The German fare is good and the beer also. The design is a relief from your usual Long Island shopping center burger place.

Have always wanted to visit the Black Forest Brew House. A Groupon helped get us there. Was not very busy on a Tuesday night.Despite this, the service was a little slow. But the in-house brews were excellent and the German-style cuisine was excellent. Will definitely be going back to sample more of the menu. There were lots of non-German menu... More

I've read very mixed reviews on this place but glowing testimonials for the Sunday brunch. I was going to hold off on a review until it tied both so I could give this place a fair shake, but decided against the wait. Like quite a few, I had a Groupon as an incentive to travel the 20 minutes to this... More

We stopped into the Black Forrest Brew Haus for a casual lunch on our way out to the Long Island shore. Decor is typical of an American German restaurant. Staff was prompt and efficient. Beer was good. Food was typical German fare. Onion and ale soup was very good. Potato pancakes were good, but nothing really special. The house special... More

Had been meaning to make the drive out to Black Forest Brew Haus for years but never had the time or desire to go 40 minutes out of my way & since its been around for so many years, I felt it was time to give it a try. Unfortunately the various dishes my friends & I tried were each... More
