Worth a drive from anywhere to experience great food and great service. Menu has some wonderful staple items with seasonal changes and specials of the day based on what's the freshest food out there. Creative and delicious--charcuterie board has lots of options, pommes gaufrette (think awesome fries) are not to be missed, and the duck wings...savory and tender. Most recent... More

The Table at Fort Plain is an incredible little restaurant tucked away in a post industrial village in Upstate New York. The chef creates delicious entrees accompanied by seasonal selections of locally produced produce. The menu changes with each season.

Wow! This place was just unexpected in a town like Fort Plains. I come from Vegas and work in the casino industry so I am no stranger to fine cuisine. But all i can still say is WOW. The menu is constantly adapted to the items in season and grown locally in central NY. The service was wonderful and attentive.... More

A place easily missed if you aren't looking for it, The Table is an unexpected dining delight. My husband and I took our weekend guest from NYC there Friday night. We had no reservation, but were quickly seated in the bar area. Chef Aaron is a young local who decided to bring his talents back to the area where he... More

What a lovely little town and here is an incredible "farm to table" restaurant right on the main street (Canal St./Route 5S) just to be enjoyed!! Our group had nothing short of an extra ordinary TGIF meal-great start for the rest of our weekend! From the casear salad, fish & chips to the sea bass right through the veal chop-couldn't... More

This restaurant offers very good food at reasonable prices. Staff is friendly and efficient. Was surprised to see fiddlehead ferns featured in a couple of dishes on the menu.

When my better half and I bought a home in Fort Plain last year, we realized that dining options were going to be limited as compared to living in New York City for most of our lives. So when we stumbled upon The Table and it's great chef, Aaron and the amazing service staff, we were beyond thrilled. We've been... More

The Table is an excellent chef owned restaurant you would not expect to find in its Fort Plain location. This is the type of restaurant people travel a distance to experience. They will not be disappointed with The Table.
