Village Market and Eatery has THEE BEST "Everything" bagels around! We call ahead and reserve hoping they haven't sold out. Staff and owner, Carl, are super friendly and accommodating! Always an abundance of healthy snack choices for school lunches. My granddaughters love stopping there en route to school!

The owner is very attentive and the service is too notch! They have excellent live music there sometimes and the food is like an upscale deli or bistro. Casual and intimate, highly recommended and perhaps the only place for live music in that particular area!

Carl and his staff are a very down-to-earth crew who work hard to provide an excellent experience for customers. Whether you're stopping in for a snack, eating a full and freshly prepared meal with delicious local ingredients, or sitting down for a glass of wine, dinner and live music during the warmer seasons, you're in for a real treat. Affordable,... More

Friendly staff and knowledgable. I have celiac disease and they are very accommodating towards my dietary needs. They have a soup bar, gluten free snacks, salad choices and live music during the summer months. They also have free wifi. Great coffee and other coffee items available - cappuccino, latte, cold brew, etc. I eat here quite often. There is a fair... More

We are very fortunate to have this establishment in Gardiner! Definitely recommend the bacon cheeseburger with fries, and the mocacchino.

This place has a great vibe! I've eaten here a few times and was always pleased. I've caught some of the local music on Saturdays and it has all been top notch. The owner Carl is very friendly, accessible and passionate about his baby. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Making scrambled eggs the way I like them--dry yet fluffy-- is a challenge. This morning's scrambled egg breakfast was wonderful and accompanied with five grain bread--and at a great price!

Between carrying calmbucha and serving the all natural sandwich on gluten free bread I seriously cant drive by without stopping. Today I'm also trying the butternut squash and apple soup, which is gluten free. I'm sure it will be delicious. The girl who is at the counter almost all the time is amazing, as is the chef. My only complaint... More

We attend a weekend meeting in Gardiner each October. We found this place for lunch several years ago. We return each year for lunch as it is near the meeting hall. I always have the Smoked Trout BLT. It is both excellent and unusual. The muffins and soups are also wonderful. We highly recommend this establishment.
