Worth the wait if its busy. Take a deep breath and relax and prepare yourself to have the food exceed your expectations. Try the community table.

We at lunch here a couple of days ago on a cold, rainy day. We had chicken soup with a bisquit, and chili with cornbread. We needed warm food. We couldn't get over how delicious everything was. It was a real treat on a cold day.

This would be a five star review if it wasn't for the long wait! The food was delicious- home baked goods terrific, as were the eggs, and fresh fruit, fresh squeezed OJ....place was crowded so we sat at small counter and it took over 30 minutes after we placed our order...people working here are extremely friendly and accommodating, but they... We had a wonderful lunch at Crossroads on our way to a rental in the area. The place is casual but food is good and portions are very generous. We tried a couple of the soups and sandwiched and they were all very good (grilled cheese, ham, goat cheese and fig spread sandwiches). Prices were reasonable and service was efficient.... More

My wife and I have visited several times, and we were never disappointed. We found the food, and especially the kind and engaged staff, to be excellent! Recently, we stopped by on our wedding anniversary for an afternoon snack, and enjoyed coffee/tea, biscotti and pleasant conversation with the owner. We love the place!

You wait but they make everything fresh to order and it's worth it. They have specials that you will never taste anywhere else. Superior quality! But they still have basics for kids so it's good for everyone. I love the open farm house feel.

I've eaten here twice and I will be back. The atmosphere is convivial with a simple farmhouse feel. The sandwiches are fantastic, made with proper roasted meat and served with homemade pickles. This is the perfect place to refuel after a brisk hike.

We recently had breakfast on a Saturday at this restaurant. You order at the counter and they give you a number sign for your table. I ordered the frittata and my husband ordered cornmeal pancakes and sausage. It took quite a will to get the food, approximately 35 minutes. They were busy, The food was worth the wait! My frittata... More

We visit Crossroads occasionally when we're too lazy to cook. Most of their offerings are several notches above average, but there's a caveat. The place is often quite busy and waits can easily stretch to as long as 20 or 30 minutes. If you have plenty of time, do stop in. But if time is short, don't bother. There seem... More

The food here is excellent. The austere, farmhouse decor is clean, inviting and soothing. I enjoyed a steak for dinner, my children the excellent hamburgers and chicken. We had breakfast the following day, which was marred by uncertainty and a long wait but this was about a year ago and perhaps they have improved that operation. Despite that problem, I... More
