We went to church close to noon on Christmas day, and afterwards had lunch at Spice Village Grill. The food was really good, but I was very impressed with the whole fish and their rice. I don't usually like spices (I only like salt and pepper on my grilled fish), but I don't mind their spices at all. The balance... More

The food here is outstanding. Wonderful melding of flavors and spices. Lots of choices for vegetarians. The staff is very friendly and the owner usually around to welcome you and chat, if you like. Venue is comfortable, attractive, and easy to have a conversation in. with windows on the goings on downtown. Prices are reasonable.

Imaginative food, well-prepared every time I've been there. Delicious blend of Indian/Pakistani spices, not oily or salty like others. .

I had the mulligatawny soup with chicken vindaloo and a mango lassi for my dinner. The server Lusbin was good and was very attentive. The soup was great and the vindaloo was decent but not hot like the ways Goan people from India serve it. The pricing was pretty high for what I got but it was good. It was... More

My wife have eaten here three or four times. We enjoy the Tikamasala and the Naan. The prices are reasonable and the food is good. Give it a try!

Random choice for a nice Saturday night date night dinner. Wanted something new and a little different, and Spice Village fit the bill. Luckily, we hit on an open booth and were seated very promptly. Service was attentive, and gave great recommendations throughout the meal. The lamb shank special was a huge hit, and the seafood platter with the peppers... More

First time at this restaurant. Very surprised that they didn't give you anything to nosh when you waited for dinner. Every restaurant of its kind will give you a little nan or different Indian/Pakistani relishes. Something? Didn't try to make us comfortable at all. Food was only fair...

We were going to see 38 special at the Paramount and decided at the last minute to eat. The Tikka Masala was good but the coconut chicken was excellent . We would go back.

They have some very tasty, nontraditional choices. We particularly enjoyed the mango chicken and the coconut curry chicken (which I asked them to spice up - nice!) We also had the qeema naan, which was stuffed with spiced meat and not a small dish - tasty as well. Not the cheapest place to eat, but I'll definitely be back.
