A delicious Margarita and glass of wine plus very good service did not make up for the fajita. Although the fajita was served in a small cast iron pan, the onions and green peppers were mushy and bland, the shrimp were small and tasteless, and the sizzling typically associated with fajitas was non existent. The pre-dinner chips and salsa also... More

We stopped at Chili Nights recently on our way home from 6 Flags. We (1 adult and 4 kids between the ages of 10-12) were all very hungry and excited about finding a Mexican restaurant. The décor was typical of what you find in the Adirondacks. Lots of knotty pine. It was a little dark, but comfortable. Our waitress stole... More

We enjoyed Marty's a lot, not expecting much from a Mexican restaurant in the Central Adirondacks. They had a busy night, and we got there late, but they were out of retried beans, ground beef, and we couldn't get a refill on wine because the bar closed. Nonetheless we liked and appreciated Marty's Mexican.

So, a summer Saturday evening. Ok, it'll probably be busy. I understand. Go there as a group(5). Walk in. Yep! It's busy. Ask the girl at the door how long of a wait. She snaps: "45 minutes". Ok, give us a moment to discuss. She snaps(I mean snaps): "I need to know now people". Good bye!

Ate at Marty's again last night. Three adults and two children. The place was packed at 6:30 pm but the service was just fine. I noticed that the other diners were served in as friendly and cheerful way as we always are. I overheard lots of positive comments about the food and drink. Our two young grandchildren were given creative... More

Went with friends. Service was great ,food was delish (house balsamic cilantro dressing was so good I wanted to drink it) had skirt steak fajitas with guacamole and I was very impressed with everything. A must stop next time you're visiting the Adk's. Will be back!

We've been coming for years, although it took a while to venture into a Mexican restaurant in the middle of the Adirondacks! It's good food, with lots of choices. I'd consider it more Tex-mex style, and it's a nice diversion from the typical adk fare. We came twice in July already and had a great time each visit - thankfully... More

Tasteless food (thank god for hot sauce), overpriced ($15 for a taco, really?) food like the packaged stuff you buy at a grocery store. I don't understand the popularity of this place. Maybe their drinks are good.

We initially came here 20+ years ago as vacationers and now come as local residents. Marty's is as much a part of Indian Lake as the lakes and wild life. The food is delicious, the servings are generous, and the prices are reasonable. The drinks and desserts are fine as well. The menu is varied with so many items that... More

We never go to Indian Lake without going to Marty's. Great atmosphere, very good mexican food. We have several mexican restaurants near us in NJ, and Marty's is better!
