This place should be number 1 - I realize than some people are looking for their Americanized sweet and sour pork - I suggest they head over to Panda Express - At Hai Hong you get authentic Chinese food - the kind a lot of smaller towns don't have. This restaurant would stand well in the Chinatowns of Seattle or... More

We were the only family there for dinner. The food is so so but a bit expensive. The free appetizer is good though.

I have not visited this restaurant in many years. Now I remember why. I called in a carry-out order. Very basic Chinese dishes; vegetable lo mein, shrimp fried rice, and eggplant with garlic sauce. When I arrived home and unpacked the bag, I discovered that there was no eggplant with garlic sauce, there was a container of mixed vegetables, with... More

There are so many Asian food spots especially in college town.. But so far this is the best.. Extensive menu.. But ask for the dim sum menu and or lunch menu. Very good dumplings

I've come here for dimsum both with friends and family, and their dishes are as authentic as those in Hong Kong. The staff were very friendly and could also speak Cantonese, which was pretty cool for upstate NY. This place gets busy because it's good, come early, and order quick!

I used to love Hai Hong when they were located on Route 13, especially their weekend Dim Sum. Now I end up going there for an occasional lunch with my colleague. Their menu seems smaller and more "mainstream" (my perception?) but the attention to cooking is till the same. Lunch is usually a soup and a quick stir-fry dish for... More

Usually lunch monthly, either the duck or the whole fish are the most often ordered. The delicate wonton soup is perfect for a light appetizer to stimulate the palate. Happily they have excellent finger lakes white wines that match very well with the entrees.

The food here is top shelf. Being in college town is a drawback as it is hard to park and the atmosphere suffers. The chef's specials are mostly excellent and the service is very good

This place completely ruined our anniversary while out. Decided to stop and get a bite to eat since we were starving. The food was cold and most of the time, we didn't know what meat we were eating at their buffet. Our server forgot about us and didn't bring us drinks until we asked again to bring them, the ceilings... More
