I have takeout from here around twice per month for the last 16 years, and an occasional eat-in meal. Their fried rice, egg rolls, sesame noodles, chicken + cashew, chicken noodle soup, and egg drop soup are my recent regular items. They are consistently tasty, well cooked, and light on spices -- even for the items I've had that are... More

Have to say worst meal (and service) I've ever had. Was only customer there between 3:30 and 4:00 on Sept 22nd...ordered Sichuan Spicy Shrimp and soft drink. Was pile of goo of onions and a few shrimp...was sweet, not spicy...server never came back to my table until 4:15 (45 minutes and never asked for refill or how things were)...I had... More

Called in here for dinner after checking-in at the hotel nearby. Staff were very helpful and polite, made us feel very welcome. Very generous portion sizes and reasonably priced as well. We ordered both a starter and main course, and found the main course would have been enough on its own! We decided to eat in rather than take-away and... More

Ling Ling Garden is good if you have never eaten Chinese food (or food) before. Other than that, it's your usual greasy, small-town Chinese facsimile of food catering to the bland western palate.

Stopped at the Ling Ling Garden for dinner with family. Food was plentiful and very good. We were unable to finish our portions, but enjoyed everything that we ate! Our waiter acknowledge us right away and the food arrived quickly.

Their Lo Mein has been good. But their customer service has worsened. When I went there a few days ago, I walked in to order the Lo Mein as a take out. Three people were at the desk. None greeted me or even acknowledged my presence. Eventually one by one, they left the front desk where I was waiting for... More

Walked from best western, ordered pork fried rice for two...when opening package back at room, no utensils, no little packets of sauce, so had to go back for those things. My husband loved it, and ordered for the following nite , I decided on a large Hershey bar which I loved.

I rate this restaurant above average for the food. Found that the food was not greasy, which we have experienced at other Chinese restaurants. The ribs were on the tough side, but had good flavor. Dining room was clean and the wait staff was pleasant and took time for some conversation. For our needs at that time, it was a... More

I ordered a Pepper Steak dinner. Everything was as I expected except that the "steak" was gristly. It was so bad, that I ended up picking out the "steak" and throwing it away while eating all the rest.

So when the best thing you can say about a place is "well, it didn't suck", you kinda don't have to say much more. Everything is fine here and that is the problem - its just fine. Nothing special in terms of flavor, taste or service.....but they don't stink! Basically it is typical American Chinese fare. I cannot be too... More
