My husband and mother had lunch at the Anzuelo. The place is clean and food was average.. My husband had the fry fish lunch special that was a bit salty, the soup that came with the lunch special was good. My mother enjoyed the causa rellena. I had the lomo saltado and it was tasty. My mother took home a... More

I arrived here for lunch solo and ordered ceviche mixto and yellow rice. The ceviche was a large portion very fresh and flavorful and a word of caution if you order the spicy version it was hot. The rice was tasteless so I used the green sauce for some flavor. The restaurant was small and clean and the service ok.... More

There are many venues for Peruvian food in the city and I found this one fell a bit short on several measures -- the chicken, the tallerin (sp?) verde (green pasta with pesto) , and the ceviche. Nothing bad but nothing quite as good as expected. The place is right on Northern Blvd and is a typical diner style location.

The seafood is fresh and the cooks here adhere to the Peruvian idea of simplicity when preparing seafood. Pescado a lo macho and ceviche are always good and wouldn't hesitate on trying everything else. The prices are good and the crowd is local, it is a little known spot and you should expect good service.

I recently had lunch here with my friend, Yolanda, and we were both very pleased with the overall quality of the food and the generous proportions served. We tried the Papas a la Huancaina and mixed Ceviche, both very delicious. The potatoes were great, but the ceviche was amazing; overflowing with perfectly fresh seafood and bright citrus marinade. We were... More

We selected this Peruvian restaurant on a Sunday evening by just walking down the block and stopping in, based on menu and price. Our presence seemed to be an intrusion on the staff's time, but we finally got seated. Each step of the process of ordering and being served took forever, even though it was not very crowded. We hoped... More

I was recently introduced to Peruvian food and I have to say this is one of the best places to eat Peruvian. Their strongest dish is hands down "Corvina ala Plancha" but their ceviche is also up there. Their price range is from 7-18$ (Their $7 lunch specials feature a daily soup and entree that are both savory and exotic)... More

Very good ceviches and seafood dishes. I also like the cau cau de mariscos.
