The owners and staff are friendly. The food is great. It is a must visit when in the Jamestown area.

We've been traveling to Jamestown yearly for the past dozen years. We ALWAYS go to Johnny's. It's fun just to enter and see the multi-generation family patrons and what they order. The food is very reasonable. The family that staff the order line are authentic. It's just an experience you should treat yourself to while visiting Jamestown. Hope to see... More

On a road trip to Jamestown NY, and had to make a stop at this landmark. The service is fast and friendly. Cash only, there is an ATM. I found the sauce/chilly to be OK. I like the Red Caboose on rt 51 Pennsylvania better. But we did enjoy our lunch! Would stop again if in the area.

We have stopped at Johnny's every time we are in the area. Our favorite is the two hotdogs and a drink for $5. The hotdogs (and hamburgers) are served with a special sauce (the closest way to describe the sauce is a mild chili with no beans - but much more tasty!) and chopped onions. Sometimes we treat ourselves to... More

Fifties setting, Wasn't very busy. I will give it a 4 because the other 3 in the party enjoyed their burger combo's and fries. I guess I expected a little more, but then again it was 3.25 for three hamburgers or hot dogs. The combos were a little over 5.00. I had the chicken sandwich, not really impressed just a... More

This is not a gormet place. Hot dogs with a thick brown sauce is the specialty, burgers, fries, shakes, etc. Fifties Lucille Ball theme is the decor. It's Lucy's home.

My husband and I were visiting his hometown of Frewsberg and this was a must stop during our visit. The staple of the menu is hotdogs and hamburgers that are covered with a brown (chili, meat like) gravy. It is very good! They also have other side type items like fries (that you can cover in the same gravy), onion... More

Johnny's is one of my favorite places to stop when I travel to Jamestown. The (gluten free) sauce they put on the hot dogs is the best I've ever had. It's usually very crowded and almost always too hot in the restaurant. There was some mis-communication between the folks at the cash register and the ones completing the orders. It... More

Can't believe Johnny's would not be listed. This lunchonette has been around for 70 years I believe. They have served millions and millions of Hot Dogs, with their special sauce. A counterpart luncheonette, AJ's Texas Hots in Jamestown is listed.
