Went out for a girls' night dinner with friends. We had an amazing meal on the Strand. We asked the waiter to recommend some dishes and we were delightfully surprised with what came back. We had the Linguine Basil Pesto Shrimp (my personal favorite), the...More

The Ship to Shore is my favorite local restaurant, period! The service is always professional and timely. The drinks are mixed perfectly and the food is beyond reproach. The 32 oz bone in rib eye is the best steak I've ever had. I like it...More

My family are visiting Kingston for the fall foliage. Our Airbnb host recommended this place. We lucked out and got a table despite not having reservations. Food was awesome we had the calamari for our appetizer and the branzino and salmon for our entrees. Both...More

We dined here last night - a Saturday night - and had a very mixed experience. This is a place that needs to decide what it wants to be - a fine restuarant or a sports bar. The food experience was very good - four...More

I like this restaurant but when it’s busy it’s just too crowded I think as the place is quite small and they are trying to squeeze in as many people as possible. However the food is good, I love their steak!

Their bread was delicious......pre lunch. We had a table over looking river which was nice. Our portions were huge and I took half of mine home.

The first thing we ordered was a bottle of wine. There were not any wines under 35.00 so we did choose one that was 38.00 and it was good but such a small bottle for that price. We ordered mussels as an appetizer, which was...More

Was excited to try this place given the location, feedback I'd received, and variety of seafood and land food. The wine was a value at half price a bottle, appetizers excellent (foie gras, tuna stack, etc.), main course and service was just ok. I had...More

There are docks within a few hundred feet where you can get out of a kayak. You could then walk to many restaurants in the area, including Ship to Shore. I do not know if there is a secure place to store your kayak... More

I have eaten at Ship to Shore for late lunch and early dinner - so 1:30 p.m. is not going to be an issue - quality of food and service is still maintained during off peak times - currently they are open everyday. I have... More
