Went twice during our Lake Placid stay. Sandwiches were delicious, we tried the Marcy, the Whiteface, and the Dix all were very good but I liked the Whiteface the best. Highly recommend the Asiago Peppercorn bread. Will definitely return in future.

Food was average. Eggs/Bacon/Toast/Home fries. Pretty basic, nothing impressive. Service was a miss. Menu is displayed on huge boards across the side wall. It's overwhelming and if you haven't been there before- you want time to choose. Servers were intent on moving the line and...More

Lovely range of sandwiches, crêpes and salads named after the high peaks. Always busy but efficient without being machined and inauthentic. Everything is made there with fresh ingredients. Reasonable prices and friendly folksy service.

Never had a bad sandwich! Nippletop is great! Sweet crepes ok, key lime raspberry was devine. Smores was too chocolatey but a child probably would have loved it.

This is the best place to grab food in Lake Placid. I make it a point to stop whenever I'm there. That is when they are open. Even though lines are always out the door, it is always worth the Waite.

Met friends for lunch, everyone was happy with their food. My salad was great, large portion and very fresh. We split a HUGE oatmeal raisin cookie 4 ways and it was like we each had a cookie, nice cinnamon accent!More

There is usually a line for a reason, it is good food. We ordered sandwiches to go and, packed them along for a hike. 5 home made breads and additional choices to choose from. Crepes looked great but we had sandwiches only.More

I know they have a few vegetarian options but unsure about Vegan. They also give you the option to build your own sandwich.
