Decent, cheap take out eats in Lake Placid. Location is it's best selling point - right across from the ice skating oval.

I have to say this is just average pizza. It was close to our hotel so had it the first night in town. It was convenient after a long ride.

Main Street Pizza offers a welcoming atmosphere and pleasant service with pretty tasty pizzas. Grandma's pizza was better than expected but not amazing. The decor is very basic but there are cool photos on the walls of the swimmers during the local triathlon in Mirror Lake. Conveniently located across from the Olympic Oval. Perfect if you are looking for quick... More

Ordered 2 pizzas, one was Grandma & second was Buffalo Chicken Grandma was perfect, right amount of cheese, fresh basil & tomatoes tasted so fresh & sweet. The Buffalo Chicken was tasty too, but only chicken was a little dry, but for customers who like over cooked meat I am sure it could be a perfect choice. Big plus, they... More

Used to Jersey/NYC pizza, but for up here, not bad. I feel like I was been ripped off though. The menus online say a plain pizza is $12.50. Ordered and picked it up, and they charged $16.20. Do pizzas go up in the winter or during hockey tournaments? Don't know, but I won't go back for the mere fact that... More

This is our go-to location in Lake Placid for calzones. After a long day hiking or snowshoeing, this is the perfect place to get some comfort food and warm back up. You must, must, get the garlic knots, you will "knot" be disappointed!

I was a spectator during Iron Man weekend. As my day started as early as the athlete's did, I was hungry! Main Street Pizza and Pasta offered an absolutely delicious breakfast pizza by the very large slice. Affordable too! Woman who runs the shop is delightful and a very hard worker!
