No Greasy Spoon here. It's a diner with something for all tastes - Greek foods, Italian, American. Visited on a Sunday night and received friendly and fast service. While they have a very complete menu including steaks, seafoods, prime rib, lamb and more (many accompanied with a glass of wine) we settled for one hot turkey and one hot roast... More

My wife and I went here for dinner while staying at the Residence Inn. There was a huge menu with many specials on a white board. We decided to have Greek, me Souvlaki and her the spinach pie. The meat on the souvlaki was bland and flavorless and the spinach pie, while huge, was not worth eating, overdone and also... More

The food was very good but the waitress was awful! From the start she had an attitude and it never went away! The food as I said was very good! Love to give a better rating but since most of our interactions were with the unfriendly waitress the rating has to reflect it

Being a resident of Latham for most of my life and knowing Latham has a few diners, Route 7 is without a doubt my favorite. I like the older atmosphere and the prices are much cheaper than the diner up the street. I like the food better here as well. The chicken noodle soup is awesome. I would highly recommend.

Atmosphere means very little to me, as long as it's clean and the food is good. That is the case here. Very good breakfast, plenty of food and extremely reasonable. Very attentive server, but not annoying. I usually eat here at least once every trip to Albany. Very near the airport, convenient to my sites to visit.

Stopped by for breakfast and the service was great! The interior isn't updated, but those things never bother me. As long as the food and service are good I'm happy. Will return.

We had a large party (10 people) for lunch. Many servers met our needs with place settings, pitchers of water etc., and our waittress took our order and brought us our lunch promptly. Portions generous. Menu offers seafood, prime rib, sandwiches and salads as well as large breakfast fare. Prices reasonable. Food was hot and delicious. Not a greasy spoon... More

Diner was close to our hotel so decided to give it a try. My husband ordered a streak and it came well prepared and was very tender - a good choice. I ordered the meatloaf without the mushroom gravy. Didn't realize I had to also specify 'no mushrooms'. Moved most of the mushrooms to my husband's steak so that was... More

Believe it or not, this was the best steak I had in a awhile. It was served with two fat mushroom caps on top and a yummy au jus underneath. The rest of the meal wasn't as great- canned corn, boxed mashed potatoes, etc. The salad was fresh and crisp but standard fare with iceberg, cucumber, tomato chunks. However, the... More

Extensive menu. Prompt courteous service. Reasonable prices and most dinners include a complimentary glass of wine. Chicken Francoise was delish!
