My 5th trip through the Berkshires and was determined to go to Harney Tea. I have had the tea many times at restaurants and found it outstanding. Harney and Sons is in the delightful small town of Millerton NY. and I was the only tea drinker in our foursome. The front room has a "wall of tea chests" and I... More

My dad is a tea fanatic and has to make a stop here every time he visits us. He always walks away with his old favorites and some new friends.

Quick lunch was an ironic title as we asked if it was possible to get a grilled cheese sandwich and some scones in 45 minutes because we had 2 small children who would not linger for too long and we had to get them back for an event. We were told no and made to feel less than welcome. We... More

We rode to the end of the Harlem Valley rail trail and stumbled upon this wonderful little restaurant/tea shop. Everything was perfect. Meatloaf sandwich special was excellent. Tea was also excellent! Thanks

I have always loved Harney & Sons Tea so this was a treat for me. We sampled a few teas. They freshly brewed a tea for us to try and it was delicious. There are so many options to choose. Definitely stop by if you like tea.

Didn't try the restaurant but the tea tasting room is terrific. They usually have 2-3 teas brewed and ready or you can choose to have a tea brewed fresh from the dozens of choices that are in tins behind the counter. We always end up taking some leaves home.

A stop in charming Millerton had us enjoying a wonderful lunch of delicious sandwiches with a side salad. This delightful cafe is in the midst of a great tea shop.

This is a very small eatery. All the other fancy restaurants did not open until 4 or 5 so we had a very nice lunch in this rather small establishment.

A local told us to try the Gazpacho soup and they were right. It is terrific, spicy, with a piece of French stick and cucumber slices. We also had a shrimp salad and a ham and cheese sandwich with fruit iced tea. Service was slow but the food was great. Prices are reasonable and the place is cute; great for... More
