I ordered the vegetarian combo, and because I can't eat chillies/hot food, they substituted two other dishes for the two spicy hot dishes. I was so grateful. Plus the other dishes really were not spicy. (Oftentimes the non-spicy dishes at Ethiopian restaurants are still too spicy for me.). Every dish was absolutely delicious! Wish I lived closer. I'd be eating... More

This place makes you feel like you came home! This despite it's totally different style-both of food and how to eat it! It is little more than a storefront tucked away in a side accessway to s moger ave in mt kisko NY. Run by two Ethiopian sisters it is surrounded by paintings of Ethiopia on the walls. The menu... Whether you're local or traveling and looking for an excellent meal that's affordable and consists of something special rather than the standard offerings, this is the place to go. Each selection will be described if you are new to Ethiopian cuisine. Gluten-free and vegetarian options available. I've been there on my own and with friends and family. It's always a... More

My husband and I enjoy going out with friends who either like Ethiopian or are up for new cuisines so that we can go to Lalibela. It's a gem in our town that we very much appreciate - satiating the palates of a vegan and a carnivore. Delicious, comfortable and great location.

I'd heard a lot of good things about this place and finally made a decision to go. Glad I did. Food was very different than anything I'd ever had, but it was all very good. The dish with the chicken legs is what everyone raves about, and for good reason -- very tasty and I'll definitely order this again next... More

This restaurant was unique and unlike any other restaurant in Mount Kisco. The menu was unknown to us, so we asked the server what they would recommend. I suggest going with an open mind and if you like a large portion, order a lot of food. We were not full after the meal, but we enjoyed the plates we ordered.... More

What a fun way to eat dinner! A variety of meat and vegetables served on the BIGGEST pancake, actually called injera, is the traditional Ethiopian way to eat. Yes they do have forks and knives if you so desire, but the injera is a fun way for kids to scoop up food. The owner always remembers us and the dinning... More
