I put four starts because the waitress was very nice and the music was so ridiculous it made laugh. Also, hummus was pretty good. Other than that - I couldn't finish my entree and neither did my wife, it was incredibly salty and the lamb tasted like liver. Maybe a vegetarian option would a better one.

This is a comfortable restaurant on the Main Street in this college town, Interesting art work on the walls. After reading the reviews expected a very good meal. Place not crowded at all at lunch but service was lackluster. Had the falafel sandwich which came with fries and not the salad listed on the menu. Waiter did bring the salad... More

We have had dinner at Anatolia several times while visiting New Paltz, and have never been disappointed. It generally has middle eastern type food, but a broad enough menu to have choices for everyone, including our two vegetarians. Portions are fairly large, so we often take something home. Service is good and efficient. somehwat small restaurant, so reservations are a... More

Our family has frequented Anatolia countless times. We're vegetarians and the choices meet our needs. The food is extremely fresh and tasty. The appetizers are incredible; we always go for the mixed appetizer plate. The babaghonoush is among the best anywhere. A bowl of the red lentil soup is extremely nourishing. We've always been happy with any of the veggie... More

We (a couple) enjoyed dinner at Anatolia. There are many vegetarian appetizers and a number of entrees. The waiter was glad to accommodate our request to share an excellent red lentil soup and stuffed grape leaves, and then share a vegetable and rice based entree. Delicious warm bread with olive oil and olive tapenade were brought to the table and... More

Warm and welcoming, we had a delicious lunch of a mixed grilled platter. The baba ganoush some of the best I've had. Relaxing and un-rushed experience. I would recommend stopping in on your next visit to New Paltz.

Nice authentic Turkish restaurant. Food was light and delicious. My husband and I ordered a variety of appetizers to eat a family style lunch. He raves about how the red lentil soup reminds him of home. Hummus and Babaganoush were well seasoned and served with warm pita bites.

Have eaten here a few times. Enjoyed every meal. Great sized portions. Very good selection. The shish-kebab is awesome-especially the lamb and the Adana. The mixed grill varieties are also great.

We stumbled upon this restaurant a couple of years ago and have gone back every chance we get. Moderately priced and top quality the service is quick at the Anatolia and you may find it among the top Turkish restaurants you have tried as we have.
