Second visit in a few years, a few times we tried but it was closed. This time we lucked out and had another great meal. Jalea Mixta if you like seafood, and the Medio Pollo for the roasted chicken. Also had the Arroz Verde (cilantro rice) and Yucca Fritas. Best Chicha Morada I've had in a long time. Tres Leches... More

All we hoped for. We like a good cross cultural experience when we dine, and Machu Picchu gave us Peruvian decor and clientele, a good Pico Sour on the sweet side, delicious reasonably priced seafood dishes, and servers who spoke good English and were knowledgeable and charming.

I visited this place based on TripAdvisor community reviews, and thanks again everyone. The service was excellent, wait staff, kitchen staff (who opened the door for me), and the manager who was quite helpful. I had never had Peruvian food before so I was not sure what I was in for. The manager, whose grandmother opened the place in 1990,... More

I'll start with not the best neighborhood, but we went for lunch and felt perfectly fine. Restaurant is very nice inside and the staff is delightful. Very nice hostess and excellent waitress who made good suggestions. Very attentive without overdoing it. Peruvian food was new to us so we tried two appetizers and shared an entree. We tried the tamale... More

We cruised up and down the Hudson River for a week and did an overnight in Newburgh. The waterfront has a few good restaurants but we wanted to see what was up in town and with a friend meeting us at the dock we went to Machu Picchu to dine on a Saturday night. The service was friendly and the... More

My husband was craving Peruvian roasted chicken. So, based on the reviews on Tripadvisor off we went. Service was friendly and efficient and the decor was authentic Peruvian with native art work and photos on the walls. The food was nicely seasoned and the chicken was moist. Ceviche, tasted made fresh, made with raw fish cured in citrus juices, and... More

Family owned since 1990, Machu Picchu Peruvian Restaurant opened it’s doors to invite their community to experience the culinary richness of Peru.

Today our menu reflects the fusion of styles and tastes that Peru is so famously known for. We pride ourselves in preparing all of our plates with the freshest ingredients in our contemporary and time-honored dishes.

The imported mahogany and cultured stone design of the restaurant provides a warm ambiance for your dining experience, along with the décor which has been all crafted by Peruvian artisans and displayed to evoke an inviting and rustic feel for our customers.

We also offer a full bar that is stocked with top shelf liquor as well as domestic and imported Peruvian beers. Come try our Pisco Sour – a classic Peruvian cocktail – which has said to be the best in Hudson Valley!
