The Chateau closes for two hours at lunch time, so we instead of grabbing something quick, we settled in for a wonderful meal at this cozy restaurant just a block from the Chateau's entrance. My spouse had the mixed meat and cheese plate - stunning. I had a wonderful smoked salmon with crusty bread. There is seating inside, but we... More

We had a wonderful lunch here on a Monday afternoon. We were a bit worried when we arrived in chateauneuf that there wouldn't be anywhere to eat as it was 1330 but luckily for us we found this little gem.

If you are looking for real burgundy cuisine at a reasonable price this is the place. Located in the area of the Chateauneuf the views from this site are glorious. Parking can be tricky in the high season. Lots of shops and artisans in the immediate area.

Our first visit to one of our favourite restaurants while staying at Camping Lac Panthier. The english couple who own this lovely restaurant always deliver a tasty and well presented meal. A very nice way to pass away a few hours.

On our one night stay in this village we choosed the restaurant for dinner. The service was very nice and fast with the drinks. I took the regional dish saucisse bourguignonne (sausage made from pork) with potatoes and fried tomatoes witch was absolutely tasty! My partner had the burger with fries and coleslaw. But you can taste, it's nothing from... More

Had dinner at this restaurant in the middle of Chateauneuf A typical French restaurant, serving country style food, tasty and nice quantities. Very friendly and attentive service, very reasonable prices.

The picturesque village provides a great setting for the restaurant. Decor and table settings are informal 'cafe style' and the welcome very friendly. The menu offers much more than crepes and my starter and main (rillettes and guinea fowl) were both well prepared. That being said my wife's main and my desert were crepes and both were superb. The flaming... More

My wife and I were biking and stopped at the very beautiful chateau chateauneuf. After a very hard 2km climb we were ready for lunch. We found this very charming place on, as you guessed it, trip advisor. We both had the escargots and salad with Roquefort cheese, apples and walnuts and washed it down with a nice white burgundy.... We enjoyed the crepes so much that we came back again. The restaurant has a homey atmosphere (kids run in and out plus the cat) and is well decorated. But it is the food that encels. Each meal that we ordered was very tasty and well presented. And different from some other local restaurants, there is just the right amount... More

Situated in a beautiful 17th Century half timbered building. We offer a wide selection of dishes, from deliciously filled crepes to fresh salads to juicy grilled Steaks and great seasonal recipes of Stephen Houchin owner Chef. Enjoy your meal on the shady terrasse or inside next to the roaring central fire, whatever the weather there is a table to suit.
