Enjoyed not only the meal but the atmosphere and staff. The chili is terrific and the carrot cake is outstanding. What a pleasure to find this place. Worth the drive.

First, the inside of this restaurant is amazing. Hand-carved wood abounds. It's like eating in a Swiss Family Robinson treehouse. My cousin and I stumbled on this wonderful restaurant for lunch while researching our roots in the area of Durham, New York. The sandwiches were great and it is so unique and welcoming on the inside. Once an old opera house they have done an amazing job of restoring the inside and making it a fun and comfortable place.
Very unusual decor, loved it, food is fantastic. Everything is very healthy and the staff friendly. Cool location right on the creek

Delicious food and kind service. I felt like I was eating in a Hobbit hole. Try the spinwich! I am still thinking about their hibiscus iced tea :)
The first time i went there i thought i was in the shire in the lord of the rings movies due to the hand crafted decor and paintings. They are extremely friendly and polite and they serve everything fresh and organic and im not sure it breakfast gets any better. The fruits, warm apple cider, coffee, yogurts and much much... More
