Let me start with how to get a reservation. Do it at 12:01, two months in advance, online. Can't be bothered? Then this might not be your cup of tea. Think $300 a person is too much for a meal at arguably a 5 star restaurant? Again, consider another choice. Like your food simple and predictable? Not the right place.... More

This is so far the biggest expirience at any restaurant world wide.. from welcome till leaving every detail is taken into account. Surprises and original ideas keep on coming. The needle in the hay stack. Tomato Sussi. The beefs without meat. Delicious marrow bone. Vegetables on spikes. Honey served in bee cubes.. it keeps on going. Then when you think... More

Dan Barber might be the instigator of farm to fork cuisine, but if he isn't he has taken it to new levels of coherency and most importantly of relevancy. a vegetable focus, with an almost japanese like simplicity and focus on a central ingredient of immaculate quality and provenance. few places have the confidence to serve just a baby carrot... Blue Hill has perfected the art of farm to table by strictly adhering to and creatively serving only what's available in the farm or preserved for the season when you visit. After many years of hiking the farm's trails and shopping at their store, it was time to dine here! Firstly, we were sad not to have taken the opportunity... More

It sure was cumbersome to make a trip to go to this restaurant (45-60 min by car) but it was definitely worthwhile. Experience was beyond imagination- even though it was the winter season, which wasn't ideal for "farm-to-table" concept, we enjoyed lots of processed ones and uncooked vegetables that were freshly picked up from the house and farm around the... If you are looking for a exclusive and unique farm to table experience with intellectual stimulation, then this is the place to be. The sceptics of this concept have obviously never eperienced the magic of Dan barbers team. Fabulous and exceptional in every way, the restaurant not only promises shock and awe but blows past all expectations. Look no further... More

I was so exciting to finally be having the gastronomical experience of Dan Barber and Stone Hill. The restaurant is beautiful and you are treated graciously however I was very disappointed in the food. The small tastings were at times cute and one or two were interesting, however generally nothing stood out as exceptional except the soup. (I also felt... More

Charming setting. Warm welcome. Friendly service. The food... outstanding! Fresh local seasonal products masterly prepared. A joy for the eyes and palette. An experience. One small comment, a couple of dishes out of the 20+ delights were uncharacteristically salty.

I loved the concept, I loved the ambiance, I loved the flavor, the freshness, and the experience. But what I didn't love was how stuffed both my husband and I felt afterwards and especially not being able to try everything since it was impossible to fit anything else in our stomachs towards the end. With fine dining, one of the... More

They say "we're just gonna feed you" and you won't be disappointed. Go in with an open mind and you'll be utterly delighted. They will make sure you don't get something you're allergic to or utterly dislike. Open your mind and you'll be transformed. Farm to table at it's peak.
