Chez Noelle with all its Gallic charm has closed in 2016. While it was open for many years and served good french cuisine, the crowds have moved on. It will be missed.

The food was ok, the service was friendly but slow, the setting is decent, the prices are slightly expensive...eh.

They have a nice price fixed menu which offers a nice selection. The food is usually above average overall and the pricing is as expected for a sit down restaurant. Quiet and relatively tame atmosphere it's relatively unknown per se compared to other venues more centrally or prominently located

Before it was Chez Noelle, this cozy little establishment at the foot of the Willowdale Avenue Bridge in Port Washington was known as The Bridge Restaurant, but that was many decades ago. When Chez Noelle opened in its place, The Bridge soon became a pleasant memory. The newest French restaurant in the area soon attracted a devoted following, serving its... More

I've been to Chez Noelle before but for some reason never wrote a review. After dining there again last night that is an oversight that I knew needed to be immediately corrected. From the moment we entered, wine bags in hand, everything was just perfect. The wine was taken from us and we were asked if we wished it to... More

On a totally nondescript block, in an area best described as 'industrial', sits a wonderful 'find' if a restaurant that is edging toward 30 years old can be called a 'find', sits Chez Noelle. Classic French food, prepared in an intelligent, professional manner-what a surprise. If the location was on the left bank, it would be an institution. Nothing will... More

Poor food. poor service. Obnoxious owner. High prices. Uninteresting room. We stopped going a long time ago. None of our friends go any longer.

I've been a resident of Port for 33 years and they have been here before I moved here. I guess they must be doing something right. I never had a bad meal there. The service is impeccable and the food is great. The only problem is that you would never expect a restaurant of that caliber to be located in... More

An older clientele in a place from the past, yet clean, warm, friendly and excellent food. High quality preparation, excellent wine list and warm service. Would certainly go back again.

On the fancy side for special occasions as well as just good French food. Leans towards haute cuisine.
