Incredible! We live in North Stamford and came here one weekend on a lark. It was beyond phenomenal. The food is excellent. Everyone has already shared that. Interior is beyond gorgeos. I wasn’t thrilled with the forced valet parking. It’s a little silly given the small close parking lot. Felt like a bit of a shakedown. Anyway what I came... More

The interior of the restaurant is lovely. There is a feel of old rustic charm. Service was top notch and food & drinks were good. Both times we have been there it almost seems like you're eating with the tables on either side. The tables are awkwardly close, which makes it tough to have any sort of private conversation. Other... More

It was our second visit and both times the food has been exceptional. Service is top notch. Never an empty water glass or drink but never feeling like waitstaff is being intrusive. Cozy bar area. Great place for a special meal.

Way overpriced for what it is. The appetizers are truly excellent. The main course on a Saturday afternoon consists mainly of sandwiches. I had a chicken sandwich which was not as good as a nearby deli but 3 times the price. Great service. Good visit. But not impressed. And I've been here before but didn't learn my lesson. And I've... Had lunch there a few months ago. Food OK, nothing more. Service inattentive and generally poor. No one monitoring the dining room, so it took about 10 minutes to get a check.

The Inn at Pound Ridge is such a special place and a great stop off from NYC to our country home upstate. I love the architecture of the charming old Inn. It’s so cozy to dine here on a chilly evening when the wood fireplaces are roaring. The crowd is upscale Westchester and the food is delicious. On a recent... More

My friend and I are not food snobs, but we do enjoy dining out. We looked forward to our lunch. Appetizer was nice, salmon was a disappointment and the chocolate cake was spoiled by small candies. Service was uneven. Three slices of bread to table for two people. Waiter asked my friend if she wanted more coffee, but not me.... More

Today I went to Jean-George, The Inn at Pound Ridge for lunch with three other people. We enjoy the experience of trying different restaurants during restaurant week. Last year we had a wonderful lunch and decided to try it again. What a terrible disappointment, the food was very mediocre, the appetizer was either onion soup or a thick burnt piece... More

I went to The Inn last night for dinner and it was a truly amazing experience. it was my second time at the restaurant, and i had very high expectations after loving my first meal/experience there over a year ago. The menu was slightly different/updated, and we ordered all new dishes: - Salumi and House-Made Pickles - House Made Burrata... More

We went for Sunday brunch. Decent food but nothing special/memorable. Horrible service -- slow, inattentive and forgetful. The best thing this place has going for it is attractive "upscale rustic" decor. Over priced considering our experience, not a good value. You can do much better in Northern Westchester.

Chef Jean‑Georges introduces a casually elegant restaurant ensconced in the picturesque town of Pound Ridge, New York. Here, Jean‑Georges cultivates a truly seasonal, farm-to-table cuisine, with ingredients sourced from the Hudson Valley and New England, whenever possible. Constructed in 1833 as a residence and serving later as an inn, the building has been painstakingly renovated to preserve as many of the original materials as possible, including four working fireplaces. Thomas Juul-Hansen designed the restaurant’s interior with a modern yet rustic sensibility; zinc and marble accent stone and reclaimed wood. The restaurant’s lighting, artfully conceived by Herve Descottes, employs paper shades and Edison fixtures to create warmth throughout.
