Went there for dinner and we ordered the butternut squash toast for starters to share, refreshing and nice! We had the pappardelle and roasted cauliflower for mains and it's amazing! The roasted cauliflower was crispy and the sauce is a little sour tasty but nice The place can get quite cold during winter though

Everything was fantastic. We stopped for lunch. We had the homemade burrata which was unbelievable and the ricotta tomatta toast with sage that was delicious. Each of our meals...two burgers, grilled cheese, and goat cheese beet tartine were amazing. The fries....garlic and regular all good. Portions were sizable. The inside was cozy and welcoming. We were surprised to find such... More

We were looking for a quick bite on the way home from a trip to the Lower Hudson Valley. It was not quick, but it was fabulous. Top notch artisanal bread, homemade cheese, small plates for sharing. Mmmmm. The place is unimpressive from the outside and looks run of the mill on the inside. The service was a bit slow,... More

Great little farm fresh locally sourced food entrees. The food was fresh and quite tasty. Ingredients were great not your usual combinations. I had the goat cheese apple beet tartine. It was fabulous. The sourdough bread was amazing! My husband had the ban mi and loved it. We shared the garlic fries which were to die for! The garlic was... More

My husband's family has had a home in the vicinity for over 50yrs and we constantly pass this restaurant ,always saying we will go in.Well, this past Friday we did..and what a mistake it was!!! The place looks rundown both outside and inside..and there were countless flies inside. We were the only people there and yet it took forever for our meal... More

Went for breakfast. Food was fine (but not distinctive). Service was pleasant but indifferent - dirty utensils, lukewarm coffee. Really no reason that makes me want to go back. If I lived nearby, I'd consider it to be a decent option, but only because there is nothing else there. Your experience may vary - we had heard good word of... More

We checked out this restaurant ahead of time on the web. The menu looked really interesting and the reviews were OK. From the outside it looked pretty funky but you can never tell. The inside was supposed to be "quaint" but on closer inspection, it was just shoddy and, worst of all, DIRTY. Flies and bugs. Restrooms really yucky. There... More

This is a cute diner, decorated in an original way. There are some interesting Asian items on the menu. But you can't really tell what is in the Asian-named items, as the ingredients are not listed, so you need to ask the wait staff. Our lunch was OK. The service was very slow.

I was very pleasantly surprised. A quirky menu with excellent food in an earthy atmosphere. Except for the high sulfur smell in the table water and empty glasses, I highly recommend it.

This remarkable find in the middle of pretty much nowhere is a must stop-and-eat for travelers on The Taconic State Parkway between the NYC area and the Taconics, Berkshires or Rhinebeck-Hudson-Albany Region. In unprepossessing rectangular building and gravel parking lot, with an ugly yellow sign announcing itself, stands one of North America's finest restaurants -- for about the price of... More
