We had eaten at Foster's a few times years ago and were not particularlying pleased. It was said that there was new management and things had improved, that. Was not our experience. The hostess was friendly but our several seemed overwhelmed by the three occupied tables. The house wines are of poor quality and very limited in scope. It was... More

We have been regulars at Fosters for close to 30 years, stopped going after a terrible experience last year. Since it has reopened with new owners we decided to give it another chance, and so glad we did. The old menu is back with all of our favorites. The Onion soup was delicious and the London Broil sandwich as good... More

About a year ago I wrote an honest review of Fosters and how horrible it was. I had recently read that it had been sold and new owners swept in and renovated Fosters back to the great restaurant it was known for. Today, my husband an I took the plunge and returned to see if the rumors were true -... More

Our waiter was very hospitable, the food was very good. Had the Codfish sandwich, and was seated outdoors on a beautiful Spring day.

This was our first time back since the new owners so I was unsure. The restaurant has been redesigned and it is nice. We had the sweetest server and she was so helpful with my choices (I drove her nuts). I had the sliced London broil and my husband had seafood platter. Soup was amazing and dessert was amazing. We'll... More

A friend and I visited for lunch. We shared the French onion soup and the garlic parmesan wings. Wonderful! The wings were cooked perfectly. The soup was rich and delicious. We split the fish sandwich. The bread was terrific. It was soft and gooey. Would definitely eat there again.

We only stopped in for drinks but it was definitely a nice place to stop into. It has a lot of history and we met some locals that told us a bit about the place. Drinks are cheap and atmosphere is cool.

The new owners have brought back the old menu and and have also brought back the old decor. Quite a welcome change.

Delicious food. Mainly American Fare. Usually get steak - especially like London Broil Sandwich - ask for gravy. Raw clams are my favorite and are reasonable priced. Nice cozy ambiance. Great for everyone. Great staff and efficient service - will help you make the movie next door. I think prices went unreasonably up for most dishes.

Whether it's a fabulous burger or one of many variety of wings, everything is great at Foster's. Still old world character with great food. The clams were sensational! Tasted like the ocean -- in a good way! Fresh and steamed to perfection. Their salads are huge and every ingredient is fresh
