The big one is the regular stuff for us on our travels. The tavern is a great restaurant. The menu changes seasonally and there are also specials. I had boneless grilled chicken delicious. My wife had the short ribs with the same evaluation. We both ate too much. For some reason we were wise enough not to get the soup... More

Our second time visiting the Beekman. Love the warmth of the tavern. Dark, rustic and this time of year decorated so lovely. We had dinner in the greenhouse which was a first for us. Service was great, food good and dinner was very relaxing. We were not at all rushed even when we were the last to be sitting. Great... More

i enjoyed dining in the historic building. A light bite for lunch was spot on with a perfectly done Reuben and fries. There are several different rooms in the building in which to dine and each has its own vibe. Service was excellent, food was well presented and arrived quickly.

I recently had dinner at the Beekman Arms with a large group of lady friends. I ordered the trout for dinner. Every other bite of fish had bones in it. It's very embarrassing spitting out bones while out on a social, fun evening. Until I spoke with another of my friends, I just figured bones were the norm for this... More

A often over-looked spot in Rhinebeck is the tavern within the Beekman Arms...its warm and comfortable, rustic, and staffed by friendly and informative people ...ask the bartender who has visited and he'll likely surprise you. The bar menu is very limited but a perfect filler when you aren't ready for a full meal but are hungry nonetheless.

The Tavern at Berkman Arms is a lovely place for dinner. It is the oldest inn in America (1766) and is very comfortable and interesting. We ate in the green house, which was spacious and light-filled on a beautiful early November day. The service was excellent and the food outstanding. The menu is full of interesting dishes and every one... More

After a nice couple of hours to roam around Rhinebeck, the 40 of us had a prearranged dinner at Beekman Arms. The grounds had an array of colorful plants nicely designed and maintained. There are wrought iron tables and chairs for those preferring to sit outside. Upon entering, there is a small sitting area with hardwood floor, beamed ceiling and... More

My husband and I took a day trip upstate. We ended up on Rhinebeck. Having never eaten at the Beekman Arms, we decided to try it. We had a lovely lunch. My husband had the butternut squash soup with a chicken BLT. I had the sweet potato bisque with a chicken Panini. Our server, Jennifer, was sweet and attentive. I... More

We really enjoyed our lunch. We ate in wine cellar as it seemed the most quiet. Had a nice booth. Shrimp linguine was great. The historical aspect added to the experience.

Dined in the Greenhouse with an excellent view of the beautiful landscaped grounds. Service was good and relaxed. When we ordered Caesar Salad waitstaff offered a petite portion which was appropriate for our full course order. French Onion soup delicious but with too much salt; split pea soup with ham tasty, but not served hot. Turkey pot pie was "soupy"... More
