A touch pricey but worth it, IMO. The seafood especially. In good weather, nice sidewalk tables. Staff is very friendly.

Outstanding in every area from waitstaff, bartenders , cooking and originality of food concepts. My girlfriend and I visited again and were lucky enough to hit the week they were doing a Mexican themed menu. Starting with a Bloody Maria ( using tequila instead of vodka) and sampling the specials including Gigi's famous Skizza ( flatbread pizza ) I left... More
We used to go to Gigi's Trattoria more often but not so much anymore. What changed, you might ask. Nothing at all, and therein lies my problem w Gigi's. It seems to me I know exactly what to expect if and when I go there, from the items on the menu to the decor and bar scene. The quality of... More
My GiGi visit started entering an open, airy, art-filled front room featuring a horseshoe community bar. Kelly the Bartender excels at Manhattans' and Martinis'. Italian wine lovers will find a well curated good value list. Order like a local. The thin-crust Skizza or fried calamari are famous for a good reason - delicious. A+ bar snack or appetizer. For mains,... More

For dinner I started with the Kibbeh, croquettes over greens with the perfect mix of Mediterranean flavors. I chose their Skizza special, their take on a very, very thin pizza. The dough was cooked to perfection, slightly... More

My wife and I went to a wedding in Albany recently and on our way there happened across this gem. The service was warm and inviting, ownership was interactive, and the food was top notch. I don't leave many reviews but this restaurant is worthy of a try if you are in the area.
We had dinner at Gigi Trattoria on Christmas Eve. This is not the first time we come here. We;ve had dinners and lunches over the years at this very authentic Italian restaurant each time we visit Rhinebeck. Again, we were not disappointed. My dish of tagliatelle with.beef and pork ragu was delicious, and my husband was very happy with his... More
