Always great food, service & atmosphere. Great variety of American and Irish classics for a modest price.

A nice size place, with decent food. The french onion soup was delicious and all other food hit the mark as well. Good background music that was not overpowering, allowing for conversation.

We ate there while in town on business. The place is very large, with a nice bar in the middle of the restaurant. The staff is friendly. Prices were reasonable, and the food was good. Wine was reasonably-priced, though a somewhat limited selection. The beer selection is great. We liked it.

Wanted good pub grub on a windy Novemeber evening and we found a great meal. One hundred beers to choose and they have hard cider,a s well as spirits. Portions are hearty. We had potatoe skins as an appetizer. Entrees were Tipperary chicken pot pie and fish and chips. Both provided choice of soup or salad. We selected the spilt... More

Went to Digger's Ale &Eats last Friday. There were four of us from work. We walked in to a busy restaurant with a charming atmosphere. The hostesses were great and the wait staff was spot on. Food was great and the entire night was a pleasure.

Nice restaurant and bar in the heart of Riverhead. The soup of the day was great as was the onion soup. Fish and Chips was nice and tender and the amount of food was unbelieveable. My wife had the burger special and loved it. The burger was gigantic. The Long Island Iced Teas we had were made perfect and strong.... More

Passing through "Downtown" Riverhead NY on a summer beach Sunday we got hungry and stopped for lunch. Found a parking spot near Digger's and thought what the hey. We were happy we did not look any further. We enjoyed four craft brews and a delightful lunch/brunch (I had shepherd's pie; my wife the rueben) in a quiet atmosphere (just three... More

Food was tasty but nothing to write home about... I had taco Tuesday special (15 for three specialty tacos or 10 for three regular)...other dishes were more traditional (burgers, shepherds pie, corned beef) which my family members liked ...lots of good (including local) beers on tap
