Best lobster roll I've had on the north fork. It was $30 but it was worth it , had a very generous portion of meat inside the warm toasted bun

My husband and I drove past this place so many times before we finally decided to stop and try it. After our first visit, we were hooked and now it's become a tradition. We always make a point of stopping here when we're visiting the North Fork. The fried clams and lobster rolls are good and the service is great.

It's good. Definitely not the greatest, but if it's a good lobster roll your looking for, like we were, it's worth the drive. We drove an hour round trip from the Hamptons. Best not forget the local to this area, farm stands with their great reputations like Briermere Farms, for fresh pies, very near by.

Nice heated outdoor patio. My husband loved the hot lobster roll. Place was packed by 1:00. Get there early.

The fish and chips were exactly what I was looking for. The lobster roll is traditional, shredded lobster meat and mayo, nothing fancy. Great if that's what you're looking for. A little pricier, but it's New York. Go see Danny out back at the Tasting Room for lots of info on local brews, and Long Island interesting sites.

Stopped for an early dinner while out in Riverhead. Have visited the Amagansett location many times but never been here before. Very quiet at five when we arrived but cars were arriving as we finished. We chose to eat outside on the covered patio which was nice except for a lot of gnats flying around. That may have been just... More

Was told it was a good place to eat, was not dissapointed. Ordered the house special "Lobster Roll" of which I've had many, but none as good as this one. Others in my party enjoyed their meals as much as I did.

Very overpriced for Mediocre food. There were so many flies buzzing around our food it was gross. Go somewhere else for a better value and no flies.

This was my first visit to The Lobster Roll,in Riverhead. (It's sister restaurant in Montauk is a Long Island landmark) The Hot Lobster Roll is served with entire lobster shelled and cut into bitesize pieces, tossed in garlic butter,in a clam shaped bowl. The warm toasted bun is placed on the side so you can 'build it' yourself. There was... More
