The food is great. We come here almost once a month. This last visit was disappointing. We went for the $28- 4 course deal. No complaints other then the nasty red velvet cheesecake. Yuck. So that issues? Your server "Dino" has the personality of a rock. No facial expressions.. just the same "omg another day at this place" look. I... More

It was a family dinner for our daughters 18th birthday. We had a good time with our server Dino. The food was very good with a large variety. It was our first time to a fondue restaurant and Dino took his time to explain how our dining experience was going to go that night. I don't know if this is... More

We ate dinner here as a fun night out with family. The meal was good, as usual. The problem was with another party that was seated across the restaurant from us that were on their way to intoxication(or already there) - as we could hear from their loud conversations . People have every right to enjoy themselves at dinner, but... More

Visited after a wine festival. We did not know anything about the whole Melting Pot experience so we decided to try it. We really liked the service of our waitress and the food was yummy. Not sure that I would pay again so much money to cook our own meal. For one experience we head a good time.

This was the fourth time we've been at The Melting Pot in Rochester, but the first time we've taken our 14 year-old daughter, who had been wanting to try it for some time. It was a little bit challenging, because she (our daughter) has so many allergies that we had to ask tons of questions, and our waitress had to... More

This a fun place for a special treat. It is a bit pricey but it's a treat. The food was wonderful and so much fun. The service was amazing. The only issue was we had to share a pot. Which meant we had to agree. It worked out for us, but if you have differing tastes it won't work. Also,... More

I love the chocolate fondue . It is amazing chocolate. I recommend the s'more fondue. They let you roast marshmallows on the chocolate.

The Melting Pot in Rochester (or any Melting Pot in the chain) is a special place in many ways. Yes, it is expensive, but you know that walking in the door. It is worth it, and this should be used for special occasion dinners. The inside of the restaurant is beautifully done up, with darkened lighting and sumptuous decor. It... More

Looking for the perfect date night dinner? The Melting Pot is the place for you. Intimate booths, subdued decor and quiet background music set the mood for a romantic dinner. Reservations can be made online but we arrived on a weekday evening at 6:30 pm and were seated immediately. Our very pleasant waitress took our drink orders, (full bar) delivered... More

First of all.....don't expect to get away cheap here. The only thing that reflects the "fine dining" - - - is the price. It's confusing. Our server blasted through the menu and it's very odd structure in about 30 seconds. That's with us asking her to repeat what she just said. They give you one very small pot of oil... More
