Went in for lunch on the way upstate hunting, the place was packed had to wait on line about 5 minutes to be seated. We were kinda in a hurry but didn't say anything. Waitress who has been there for 30 years took our order, couldn't believe how fast our orders came out.. Food was excellent, portions very large.Deluxe burger... More

We stopped for a quick lunch while driving through the Catskills. Food was hot and tasty. Worth the stop if you're in the area.

We have been stopping at the Roscoe Diner for over 40 years. We've never had a bad meal. The service is always good and the place is clean. It's not far off the highway and when you're traveling, that's important.

We stopped at the Roscoe diner on October 11th. We had read the reviews and since we were in the area, we wanted to see if it lived up to it's reputation. It was about 10:00 am when we arrived and the restaurant was not busy at all. The hostess was curt and unfriendly bordering on rude. Our waitress was... More

The Roscoe Diner is an average diner serving average food. However, in Sullivan County New York it can be difficult to find even an average diner. Go there and enjoy it for what it is.

Since they know people will come for breakfast on weekends and there will be crowds around noon couldnt they get more kitchen help? Not worth the wait at anytime. Plenty of other places in roscoe and downsville. I wont return

Service was OK for takeout. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The Greek salad was delicious and fresh, the patty melt perfect, NOT at all greasy

Typical diner with giant menu, large seating capacity, and reasonable prices. Not high end food, but good solid comfort food. Adorned in college and university pennants - mostly schools in the northeast but some from all over. Recent lunch was just great. We all enjoyed our meals and my son the cheesecake expert tried a slice and declared light, creamy,... More

I saw where one poll showed this to be the #1 diner in NY. Nice place, very clean, good service - but nothing to rave about. Certainly a good place to stop on a long trip, but there are many other options out there.
