About
Bryant & Cooper opened in 1986 with big ambitions: to bring the top tier New York City "steak house experience" to Long Island. Not only would the very finest quality, hand picked prime aged steaks be served, but an ambiance would be created that makes everyone feel like they are part of a special private club. For membership...just make a reservation. Founded by the three Poll brothers with two generations of restaurant ownership experience, Gillis, Dean and George learned at an early age that the secret of a great restaurant was to start with serving the very best. That is why the steaks, chops and jumbo lobsters are selected on a daily basis, and only the freshest side dishes find their way

We dined here while staying in Roslyn to visit family. Because the restaurant was close to the hotel we decided to try it out. The food and service is exceptional, with the most complete wine list I’ve ever seen. However, if you plan on eating...More

We ate here by accident while traveling on business. We shared the Porterhouse and it was delicious. For sides we chose the Broccoli with garlic and olive oil, accompanied with Hollandaise sauce, and the Potatoes Lyonnaise. We chose well. The bread basket had a nice...More

We've been to several steakhouses and Bryant and Cooper - every time we go- never disappoints. Consistent, perfectly cooked steak and great service.

Bryant and Cooper’s porterhouse should be the benchmark for all great steak. Better than Peter Lugers or Wolfgang, the quality and aging of their meats is unparalleled! We like to eat in the bar since the dining room is a bit clanky and noisy. That’s...More

A real gem on Long Island for those in the know-how. An old charm restaurant that retains its former glory and manages to serve great food (fish is superb), and impeccable service. It is not overly fancy so no need to stress over dress code,...More

Food is always delicious - one exception, the turkey for the Thanksgiving Prix Fixe dinner. I am happy to go on TG, and glad that they are open - but the TG prix fixe is not what it used to be. We usually go every...More

I've been there many times over the years but live 20 minutes away. The steak is good, however I will never go there again. Their culture is to cater to their regulars at the expense of others. Despite a reservation we waited 40 minutes while...More
