I've enjoyed the food and the view many times over the years and did again recently. However, it seems like it's gotten noticeably more expensive this year. I guess the same can be said of other places in the Hamptons as well.

It's all about the sunset. If you can catch a promising sunset,and are lucky enough to get a table the porch you are on vacation without the travel hassles.The food is always good and it is a low key environment.

Food is very good, standard seafood offerings. However, with long waits for tables and limited bar space, we tend to only go to the Beacon on non-peak hours. Definitely avoid on the weekends.
You should go to celebrate. It would be hard to beat the view, the food, the service. It has a price tag, but for special events worth it.
