Wonderful food. Great history. If you are looking for a 5 star stuffy place to eat. This isn't it. But if you want great food in an interesting place, give this a try.

I love their fried chicken, i've been so many times and each times it it lives up to last time! I've also had their chicken at the Saratoga Race Track, goes perfect with an alcoholic beverage!

They may have someting other than Fried Chicken but I will never know because I can't get anything else. Brunch in the Summer is the best time to go. You wait a little bit but thats because everything is made to order.

I had one of the greatest eggs Benedict dishes of my life here. Creamy, beautiful poached eggs complimented by a crispy crab cake and sautéed spinach....amazing. The corn bread and honey butter was amazing, the waffles and freshly whipped butter transcendent. Combined with the array of choices, as well as the friendly service, this place gets a solid 5 stars... More

Cute place with a great looking menu - however, the food was very bland & not at all Soulful or Southern. It is a shame because of the atmosphere & the staff!!

Went in for dinner on Friday night...The place was half full which should have told me not to stay. Waited a LOOOONG time for waitress, while she stood at the bar talking to other employees. She was rude & obnoxious. She cared more about her than us !!!..Ordered the fried chicken, which is supposed to be their go to dish.... More

Went here for dinner and was underwhelmed. I can cook fried chicken better than that. So many better options in town

Hattie’s is a treasure in terms of food, vibe and history. Every visit here transports us to the SOUL of the South, including a good dose of New Orleans. Think South Carolina Low Country meets the Louisiana Bayou. The food, the jazz, the make-friends-with-your-neighbor environment, as well as the staff’s enthusiasm…it’s just one of those places that feeds the senses.

Suggested to try for their Fried Chicken. Not a meal eaten often, but what the heck, this once. Well truely best I've ever had. Hush puppies- just like you find in the south

As usual their fried chicken and sides are delectable and I wouldn't dream of getting my chicken fix anywhere else. Their comfort food always hits the spot!!!
