Visited today with my sister who lives in the community. She had mentioned that her neighbor, Jason was operating the establishment and we should check it out. We were met with excellent service and conversation, very welcoming. The soups are delicious, the freshness of the ingredients is evident. I will definitely be returning and spreading the word of this great... More

We have been to eat several times. Great food! Jason, the owner, is very attentive and customer focused. I will continue to come here for breakfast and lunch.

We were looking for a quick lunch while driving through this quaint town and happened upon the Espresso Huis on Ferry street across from Fort Hardy park. It is located in a historic brick building on the bank of the ferry basin that made Schuylerville a center of commerce in the canal days and a wrap-around deck offers lovely views... More

Great coffee, friendly service, Cel-ray soda on hand and lots of gluten-free options. We love Espressohuis! Eating on the deck is also quite lovely, quiet and private.

The owner was not impressed with the review I did back in October 2013 and asked if I would visit again. So looking at the recent reviews I saw a review that was titled "excellent breakfast spot" so I decided to try breakfast this time. So as I said previously this is a rather nice place, neat and clean. The... More

Wow, you have many reviews! Stiffish is all over the internet. I think I would like to spend a week with you to see where you go and what you do; appears interesting. Thanks for getting back with me. I'm sorry I missed you. What do I say? We've already discussed our limited menu. Regarding prices, our highest priced item... More

Fabulous food & service! Love the homemade soups and interesting salads. Ingredients are always excellent quality and local/organic when possible. The food is priced very well for the quality - not cheap but neither are the ingredients - always fresh and great quality. We live in NC but visit Schuylerville frequently to see family. Their gluten free options are delicious... More

First off the little shop was a real find. This coffee shop has one of the greatest out door seating area's I have ever seen. The food was all fresh and the coffee was fair trade organic. Dave the hot manager was super friendly and really fun!

Last year I really enjoyed to food and beverage here although pricey.. came this year twice and complete 360 except the price. The green smoothie now tastes like grass flavored yogurt and the eggplant sandwich is watery.. sorry, maybe I'll try again in a few months

I'm sorry you had a bad experience. You tried two loved items that are whole, local, organic, and fresh. If there is anything I can do to make it up for you, please let me know. Regarding prices, all of our meats, cheeses, and breads are top quality or home made. We do our best to keep our prices fair... More

Recently had breakfast here, lunch a month back or so. Both meals- fresh and packed with flavor. A wide variety of locally grown and procured foods. The presentation is very good, atmosphere kinda groovy! Interesting little spot in town where you can get caught up on community happening, whether from the friendly staff or from what's posted on the walls.... More

I was in town getting a haircut and asked where I could get lunch in Schuylerville. The girls said Expressohuis around the corner has good sandwiches, but they are a bit pricy. Schuylerville doesn't have much so I gave it a try. First off it appears to be a coffee shop. They have a menu, but it is very limited.... More

Thanks for your recent review and the opportunity to address ways that we can improve. We do have a limited menu, and we have had a few days when we ran out of some items due to a large volume of business. I’m sorry about that. Regarding our prices, maybe next time try our soup and sandwich combo for $7.... More
