Always a timeless experience, whether it is for that cup of coffee (with a little something extra to eat!) or the special birthday cake to order, or those delicate petits fours at holiday times, Tate's has never let me down or failed to cheer my up on a gloomy morning. Excellent and consistent baking and courteous and helpful staff. It... More

Tate's has been a landmark in Southampton for many years, was Kathleens Cookies years ago. Hasn't changed, great bakery goodies, sit in garden and sip coffee and eat delicious bakery items, nothing like it

This amazing eatery, started by Kathleen King, has the tastiest baked goods in all of the Hamptons and the best chocolate chip cookies I have ever eaten. I would highly recommend a visit to Tate's Bake shop whenever you are in the area. Her cookies are sold all over the world, and they are always delicious but why not eat... More

A clear winner for locals and visitors to the Hamptons. Delicious baked goods and outstanding hot coffee selection. In good weather, the attractive outside dining area with always wonderful seasonal flowers in abundance, is a great place to sit and enjoy life.

I love this place! They have the most delicious glutenfree baked goods. My family says everything is fabulous- even regularly baked goods!

Tate's cookies are crunchy and delicious. The pies are good. I Love the bread and butter pudding. It's a tiny place. Can get crowded. Limited sitting place if you get a coffee. You can get Tate's in the supermarket but try and get to the epicenter of the empire for some great Tastes & treats.

If you're looking for cookies and bakery goods here you shall find them! Beats Starbucks bakery by far and a few of the other local bakeries.

Everyone talks about the treats which are great, but I'm going to mention the coffee. It is amazing and it even tastes great black. Worth a trip if you need a good cup of joe in the morning.

We have been going to Tates for many years and as it has become more and more successful, the quality of the cookies and other big items has gone down. You can now find Tates cookies in grocery stores all over New York City. Perhaps they are a victim of their own success since as they have ramped up their... More
