Not very good. The tomato sauce was below average. It wasn't red, but orange. My wife says they use carrots as a filler and you end up with that color. The fresh mozz. wasn't. It's perfectly cut small round shapes are the same brand I...More

Friendly honey place with food that is familiar and good if not great. Excellent service. Ambience warm. Waiters are on top of you with good service. Pasta ok. Lamb ok. I liked their chicken the best.

We were promptly seated on a weekday evening. The restaurant was not very busy. There were four of us and we all ordered appetizers. All were delicious but the portion of clams oreganato was very small, both the number and size of the clams. The...More

My husband, an elderly relative and I dined at Da Noi on a Sunday afternoon. To begin with, they were so kind and accommodating to our 96 year old relative who had a large walker. The service throughout the meal was most attentive. I ordered...More

This restaurant is located in a residential area right off the Staten Island Expressway. There's a large parking area in the rear but to enter Da Noi, you must walk up a long flight of stairs, or a steep hill. This makes it difficult for...More

I enjoy being greeted warmly every time I walk in (like a long-time friend, but not overboard), and the dining experience is consistently wonderful. Da Noi's wait staff is attentive and courteous, bus staff is efficient and pleasant, many creative and well-prepared choices of food...More

I ordered the Mozz. and tomatoes. It was packaged Mozz. pre cut. My wife buys the same one at shoprite. The sauce wasn't the greatest either. Not garlicky enough. I also noticed no italians working there. How can you have an Italian Rest. without Italians?...More

Questions & Answers
Just curious kingshark 808......my husband and I both ordered the same dish you did, the rigatoni with "ground sausage and prosciutto" in cream sauce.....except we could not SEE any meat whatsoever, just a few unidentifiable "specks" in the sauce that looked like pepper flakes. Were you served the same thing???The owner (Eddie) insisted this dish was as described on the menu. And he was more than a little rude and even argumentative about it. For almost $20 I expect to get more than just pasta in cream sauce. If the menu describes there's meat in my dish I expect to see some! A few crumbles of sausage and a slice or two of shredded proscuitto would have been all anyone could expect. Suffice to say I would never again patronize an establishment that would not go out of its way until the customer is satisfied but choose instead to gruffly "dismiss" a patron (while the staff tried to remedy the matter) by stating "leave her alone! She doesn't want anything else! To hell with you "owner" Eddie, there's lots of other places we can go to that know customer service, repeat customers and worth of mouth is what keeps a business IN business. Arrogance chases them away! You failed "hospitality 101" big time. You should however be commended for employing a staff that showed more professionalism than you.

Sorry you both had such a terrible experience. We have not tried the dish you're referring to. Other dishes served there have been great. If Eddie, was there I think(?) he's the owner son. But he should have never been so... More
