I've been here dozens of times over the past 3 years. Tonight i attempted to use a coupon from one of the local fundraiser books. We were assured prior to our order by the server that we could use the coupon for the order. Long story short, by the end of our dinner, the server came back and said that... More

I have never had a waitress as bad as Crystal at Koto. She has the worst attitude, told me she'd get me half of a refill because I wasnt drinking the entire glass(which she did and it was embarrassing), tried convincing me that I have to eat all the veggies because they can't separate the zucchini(I'm allergic!), etc. I've come... Our visit to the now Mizu Steakhouse was the result of going by a list of locals from our motel. We were just passing through Syracuse. For a very reasonable price, we were entertained by a talented chef who prepared excellent food. Our meals were at a special price so the cost may have been unusual.

There is still a Japanese hibachi steakhouse at this location on Erie Blvd but it is no longer Koto. It is Mizu Japanese Steakhouse.

Went here with a group of friends. Started out at the bar during happy hour. Then were seated, when we wanted another drink we went to the bar to get it because of the happy hour and to make it easier splitting the bill for those that don't drink. They bartender wouldn't serve us because we were in the dinning... More

I frequent this location regularly and have always been happy with the food and the service, but when me and my boyfriend found a hair in the tempura batter of one of our appetizers, I was pretty grossed out and even alerted the bartender that was serving us, little was accnolaged, just apologized, no offer was made to remake the... I ate at Ichiban just 2 weeks prior on a visit to town, and having been to both now I would only ever go back to Koto. The service was so much better and the food was monumentally better. The shrimp at Koto were so much larger and the steak actually had great flavor, where it was the most bland... More

Went for early weekend dinner while visiting Syracuse with very good results. The food was delicious, filet mignon & lobster, on the Hibachi. Cook was very pleasant & everything was prepared exactly as we asked. Many times these places will fill you with rice & noodles but not here; plenty of quality veggies plus some great tasting fried rice. Waiter... More
