My wife and I went in around lunch time as I have always wanted to try this place. Her family has been here for as long as I have known. We have had takeout which is good so we stopped in. I haven't had good Greek food like this since I lived in AZ over 7 years ago. Nice atmosphere,... More

My wife and I ALWAYS stop at Symeons! We've done so for over 30 years! We even had our Wedding Rehearsal Dinner here back then... BEST Souvlaki Platter ever! With your choice of Chicken, Pork or Lamb... Grilled to perfection, with a side of delicious Greek salad... Great Desserts too! If you pass this up, you've missed out on a... More

My wife and I visited Symeons for an early dinner on a Saturday night. We were seated immediately and the server appeared quickly to take out drink orders. We chose a carafe of the house Pinot Grigio which was okay. My wife chose the Chicken Avgolemono soup which was a basic chicken soup with no hint of lemon. I ordered... More

Always a fantastic experience. From the minute you walk in until the time you leave you are always well taken care of. Not only is the food outstanding so is the staff and the atmosphere. Never a bad experience.

Many of the restaurants in this area are closed on Sunday. We decided to eat here because we wanted something a bit different. We both started with the chicken soup. I've had this several times at Greek restaurants at home and it has been a creamy soup. Here it it a clear broth which is nicely flavored with bits of... More

A local recommended to us as her go to spot for Mediterranean food. There's ample parking and the restaurant is fairly large inside. We were seated quickly and our server placed our order for drinks and appetizers. The taramosalata was a bit saltier than other versions we've had, the Symeon's feta fries were coated with their signature seasoning & feta... More

During our stay in Utica, we wanted to try something different for lunch. We checked Trip Advisor and went to Symeons. The restaurant is fairly large and even for lunch on a Sunday it was very busy, but we were seated promptly. We had the lamb gyro and lamb souvlaki (shish kabobs) on a lettuce salad. The food was good... More

My family (and friends) have been going here for 15+ years. They have delicious Greek food and non-traditional like their fish fry (my extremely picky brother always gets). They have one of the best calamari's I've ever eaten, which my family now orders to-go every year for Christmas Eve dinner. The seasoning mix they use for their dressing and marinates... More

Every time we travel to Utica, we always stop at Symeons for lunch. The owner always is present. Great food especially the lamb skewers.

We moved out of the area and this was our first visit in 5 years or so. We had cold dolmades with feta and flat bread. Hubs and I had the souvlaki platter (lamb kabobs). We like to remove all the lamb from the kabob, cut it up in smaller chunks and mix it into the salad. Order an extra... More
