Beach Rouge is yet another option at the resort and is probably the best for a lazy lunch on the beach. Roll of your sun lounger and have some great food, whether pizza, pasta or full on gourmet delight, the service and ambiance is great. Dinner is also a must do, a more personal, quite experience than the hustle and bustle of the main buffet restaurant. But for dinner, you must book early. We arrived on a Monday and couldn’t get a table until the Saturday, which, as it is included on a half/full board or All Inc. basis, was a shame.
Its difficult to be negative, but if like us you choose to go half board, Beach Rouge is not dissimilar to any other lunch option across the site. With every menu option being upwards of £12-15, lunches can soon mount up on a daily basis. Also, as I say in my other reviews of Lux GB, charging over £2 for a bottle of table water, wherever you decide to eat, is a slightly annoying ‘extra’ you are always met with…
Enjoy, you wont be disappointed.

Your best option while staying at Lux Grand Gaube !
The staff really stands out while comparing with other restaurants in the resort, being friendly, attentive and extremely professional.
The food is simple but well prepared, reasonably priced and the atmosphere in the evening is really nice, with great music playing and a nice vibe.
We went there 3 times and every time was just perfect.

Many thanks to David, Avishek and all the team of staff at the Beach Rouge restaurant LUX Grand Gaube resort for the amazing food, service and Mauritian welcome every time we visited the restaurant during our two week stay.

Food was excellent. The hotel staff are welcoming.
Only problem was the waiting time at Beach rouge for both lunch and dinner (we waited almost more than 1 hr to get our starters and they were burnt/ not well cooked at dinner time). We did not appreciate our experience at Beach Rouge.
Dinner at Inti was excellent and special mention to Nilesh who took good care of us.

I had an amazing evening at beach rouge. The setting at the hotel by the sea and the red light really puts you in a cozy relaxed mood. Yasser was an amazing guide to the Mediterranean food selection. His attention to satisfying our needs particularly regarding halal meat and non alcoholic meals was excellent. The quality and taste of the food is out of this world and can be found no where else in Mauritius. Will definitely visit again.

Lunched and dined there during our stay at Lux Grand Gaube. The service was excellent.
I had grilled lamb chops prepared by Chef Rajiv and they were simply the best. Thanks to the service provided by Hasseen, Veemal and Vishnu for his cocktails.
Will visit again.

We loved this place, dined here numerous times during our 12 night stay and each meal was delicious. Exquisite view of the lagoon, music playing at a level that enhanced the atmosphere without overpowering and comfy chairs create a relaxed beach vibe to enjoy leisurely meals.
Dishes of note were the tuna pizza and seafood pasta – but there’s plenty of selection.
Jean-Christophe worked like a trojan to attend to everyone’s needs, he desperately needs more, well trained, staff to support him.

Was there with the family the staff were really helpful and always did their best to serve us but the chef cooked the food early and heated it to give us. The steak felt dry because they over cooked it, the fist was super hard like rubber and the chicken has to be taken with water. Not going their again. I felt like I was at a wedding with the plastic table and uncomfortable plastic chairs.

We are staying at the Lux Grand Gaube and went to the Beach Rouge for supper last night after listening to some fabulous chill music ( accompanied by an amazing. Vanessa Mae type violinist) on the Inhifin bar terrace. At the Beach Rouge my husband and I were treated like royalty ( everyone is treated that way) and enjoyed a fabulous seafood platter for 2…. The fish and shellfish was generous and tasty and the accompanying side dishes delicious. We were looked after by Angela who helped us select our wine and made sure that our every need was met. Thank you Angela, the staff at Beach Rouge and also Deepak the chef ( who popped over to our breakfast table this morning to ask how we had enjoyed his meal). All I can say is ‘ excellent’.

We had a gorgeous evening meal overlooking the bay. Fantastic service. A delicious muse bouche chicken ball. Starters: Fresh calamari for the family, but I had the lamb kebab starter. Yummy. The family had various freshly cooked pizzas and I had a lovely Inerco Porc Presa dish (with Rosemary roasted grenaille potato, garden greens, bacon bites). Ice creams for the family but I could not resist the Tiramisu - highly recommended. We were extremely well looked after by Angela and the team at Beach Rouge. A lovely occasion. Thank you.

Such a lovely place to eat looking out over the ocean. The menu is varied for all the family and the kids’ menus is great. My mum had catch of the day nearly every day and loved it. the staff were very accommodating to small adjustments to dishes, once again this is a true reflection of the level of service revived in the whole hotel.

Angela and the team looked after us impeccably well two nights in a row at this restaurant. The food is first class with the highlights being the house focaccia and an amazing Iberico pork. My wife, a veggie, had a great choice and informs me that the stuffed sweet potatoes were brill. A lovely setting and a great team serving us - you can’t ask for more than that! Well done all concerned- We will be back for the third time before we go home!!

Not our first time in a 5 star hotel but certainly the best experience. As far as dinner is concerned, we did not have the opportunity to choose a restaurant but still the staff were very helpful and tried their best to satisfy our demand. Special mention to chef Rajiv, waiter veemal and team for their wonderful service and delicious food. We highly recommend this restaurant in lux grand gaube hotel.

Having been to the impressive Inti restaurant at Lux our expectations for Beach Rouge were lower.
However, we were wrong, the service from David was amazing, he catered for allergies, he explained everything on the menu and was very courteous and friendly throughout.
The snapper was amazing and the boullibaise was lovely - we would recommend Beach Rouge I the evening for the amazing service from David and the team and also for the lovely local fish

Our visit to Beach Rouge was such an excellent experience! Especially that it was our wedding day and we couldn’t have imagined it better way. We were specially welcomed by fantastic crew and David who made our special evening the most special. Thank you David for your hospitality, expertise, humor and smile. It was great getting to meet you! 😉
Table on the beach surrounded by lights in the heart shape, candles, refreshing champagne and the food which was so delicious!
Recommending for any visit, special or not, that team will make it special anyways.
