If it weren't for the food being consistently good than i would not be back. The waitstaff is rude at all times, i guess because of the drunk bar patrons they have to deal with. Had a manager (I think) set another tables food on my table while i was eating my own food and had a 2-3 minute conversation... More

This establishment offers a variety of food spirits for those inclined to celebrate. The scenery provides a really terrific view of river, karaoke, pool, and darts. If you are in town for business or just passing through into Canada, stop and enjoy.

Maggie's is set on the banks of the Black River. It's a gorgeous location. The restaurant is in a remodeled industrial, brick building and is quite attractive. The restaurant boasts 44 beers on tap. I had the Rueben Burger. A burger patty topped with Swiss cheese, corned brief and sauerkraut. Each alone would probably have been great. The two together?... More

I have been here many times. I haven't figured out why because it is a let down every time. Could someone please tell the "cook" how to a burger! Medium rare and medium well are NOT the same thing. This place is going downhill fast. The server trainer showed up only to make an excuse for the server being so... More

Wait staff is poorly trained. Food is worse. Used to be quite good, but has gone really down hill in the past year. Disappointing.

They've changed names over the years, but the current owner's/management have found a formula that works. TREMENDOUS FOOD, a great bar, amazing view of the black river, and unlike many restaurants in Watertown, they have the ability to accept groups. Popular night spot for the 20-somethings and our Fort Drum patrons.

I love to hate this place. It's hit or miss. I don't know if they have a big turn around in cooks and wait staff but it just ok. They have great beer if you can get one and the food is just ok. It like if you have had a few beers it's good but if you habit sucks.... More

We took family from out of town for appetizers and drinks. We put our orders in and it was well over an hr before we got our drinks. Our waitress was apologetic and looked like she was the only one providing service. We ordered nachos and wings. Disappointed that the nachos were not as big as compared to other places... More

With so many rivers in the NorthCountry you would think restaurants would take more advantage of the great views. Maggie's does it with a deck overlooking the rapids. The food is good and reasonably priced.
