The place looked promising with a nice atmosphere of tent, sofas and low tables. We were a group of 3 adults and 4 kids (ages 5-8). After a nice welcome we were getting the impression that we should beg someone for attention in order to...More

This a Bedouin style restaurant which has cushions on the floor and low tables. They have areas with regular tables and chairs too if preferred. The service is very good, staff is friendly and the food is fairly priced. The kebabs were good, but the...More

This place is out of the norm for sure! Pillows everywhere, service providers all over the place and wildly inconsistent, and amazing food. This is tent dining at its best. If you need an orderly meal experience, this place is not for you. We actually...More

We were there on a tuesday night. Location is nice, seats inside and outside, Lounge feeling. The menu is short, nothing really exiting, more basic oriental kitchen and touristy, like in any other places also. We had chicken liver which was good, eggplant and the...More

Good place to sit down for a while and enjoy nice view and coffee. Swimming pool available for customers. But the food is terrible. Shawarma and hummus tastes bad, meet doesn't taste fresh. I do not recommend.

This is essentially the only non-hotel restaurant in the beach area where the major hotels are located, and it's not only far superior to any of the hotel dining but also a great destination in its own right. This is casual, Bedouin-style dining but the...More

A restaurant in a tent (with the breeze of the dead sea) with a very pleasant and special atmosphere, just as well because of the kind service and as because of carefully designed interior design: One can sit on comfortable huge cushions on the ground,...More

There is no kosher certificate, it's open on Shabbat but I'm almost sure that they use only kosher ingredients. You can always go just for drinks :)

Ein Bokek is a hotel complex by the Dead Sea with few independent restaurants. The Taj Mahal is one of the only free standing restaurants and it is a more pleasant, cheaper and better quality place to eat than the hotel restaurants.
