Good food and service! People were very friendly and the prices were reasonable. Loved the decor as well.

We take advantage of at least one happy hour here at Matteo's and always have their fish tacos - the best! Their other tacos are quite good too. I was a little disappointed in the Margarita though - think they went a little light on the tequila.

Love their happy hour and especially their late HH from 10-close. The HH Rock fish tacos hit the spot. And the ghost pepper hot sauce is amazing. It's a fun place to go to. Especially late night. Food is good and the service is excellent!!

Their fish tacos are the best I've ever had hands down. Need to get the rock fish ones that are only served during happy hour, which is 12-6 so no worries there. Always the first meal I have while I'm in the area and I always have them a few times throughout the week. Throw a little ghost burner (... More

The food was outstanding, but the service was sub par. Our waitress took our order and she seemed quite distracted. Mind you, we were there around 5:15pm and there were only 2 people at tables, the rest at the bar so not a busy time. We asked for another round of drinks to go with our dinners and that literally... The place looks like it has great potentials for being the "locals secret" or "a hole in a wall, but a MUST for food!" type of a place. However, it did not deliver the experience expected for a vacationing crew. We went as a group of 8 - family and friends, with children 14 - 4 years of age. Called... More

We returned to this local Mexican restaurant for the first time since it moved from Bethany Beach (about 5 miles north). It had been quite a while so we were curious how it would compare to our memory from quite a few years ago. The margaritas were fantastic and the food was as good as we remembered. My son had... An advertisement for this place was in the package with our rental house. Instead of going to the grocery store on Saturday night we decided to go here instead. Should have gone to McDonald's instead. They talked us into their "award-winning" Margaritas for $11 each. They were awful watered down mixer crap. I make margarita from the same ingredients and... Everyone was very nice, and our waiter help us to make the best decision. I really enjoyed my food, and the home made salsa, was a nice touch.

Well I heard good things about this spot and heard of authentic food and drinks. I was presented with Margaritas from a bottle mix and shredded lettuce and shredded cheese with my flour tortillas - American style "Mexican" at is worst. When I mentioned I would like diced onions and cilantro on my tacos they when blank. The black beans... More
