Upon a friend’s recommendation who’d dined at their Cottesloe restaurant, we tried Lamont’s restaurant at the Smiths Beach Resort. It came with great kudos. We were staying at the beautiful Resort which was full house over the Easter period and we’d made a booking for Easter Saturday evening our first night there for dinner. We imagined all our meals would... More

We ate here on the last night of our stay next door at Canal Rocks Apartments. We found the atmosphere friendly and the food delicious and reasonably priced for the quality and generous sized servings. I would say a "must do" for a visit to Smiths Beach.

The locals tell me that these owners are new-ish and it shows. The staff were not knowledgeable about the food or the wine and the quality of service is not high, though they were friendly. So overpriced. Paying over $150 ahead is fine if the food and service are great. We definitely did not get what we paid for. If... More

Very tasty food. Average price. Very atmospheric restaurant. Piped jazz music playing in background. Ideally situated near famous Smith's Beach Yallingup. The café food is as good as the restaurant food. When I commented about how good the café food was, she said the Chefs do the cooking for both the restaurant and café. No wonder the café food is... What a lovely surprise - white linen table cloths and napkins with professional service at a restaurant at the beach. Food was devine.

Arrived on a Sunday evening without a booking and were very impressed by the food and service. I enjoyed the marron - grilled to perfection with a delicious pear salad. My husband loved the slow cooked lamb shoulder. The panna cotta was so delicious with an amazing texture and mango centre. We cannot wait to visit again. Really good coffee... More

We enjoyed dinner at Lamont's having lamb which was melt in the mouth tender. The side dish of peas & beans was delicious - would love to know how they do this - appearance and taste were amazing. Service good with that nice balance of being friendly & efficient.
