This place is off the beaten trail for sure. If you are driving on route 209 you would surely pass by the over grown yard with assorted clutter in the yard. If you do, it would be your mistake......the food is delicious! I would like to add that the inside is also quirky maybe like eating in a friends large... More

Food is very good it will take a while to eat there, but the food is fresh and made to order. They had a lady singing and A piano player there it was a wonderful night out.

It smells old. Service it very slowwwww. That would not be to bad, but the food is awful. I cannot stress this enough.

Authentic Italian food and friendly service - what more could you ask for?? They're not serving mussels for the next few weeks, maybe longer, because the fresh ones are all frozen under thick ice up by Canada, and they won't serve frozen ones like some places. Nice to know they like to serve only the best! The Chicken a la... More

Excellent food, varied specials every time we've gone there, but the regular menu is good also. Service very friendly. You'll see items here that aren't at too many other places, such as rabbit (rated wonderful by one in our party). Another in our party couldn't get enough of the wild mushroom ravioli. Music can be a bit loud, especially if... More

I remember eating here about seventeen years ago. The food was excellent then and it continues to be now. I've eaten at Giovanni's three times in the last 6 weeks and I was delighted with all of my meals, appetizers and the friendly, efficient service. The kinky decor has remained over all these years; it's strange. I really like the... More

Went to Giovanni's while visiting my mother in NY. The food is outstanding! I have visited Italy several times, and can honestly say this is fine Italian food. I had ravioli a la vodka and I loved it. Mom had seafood risotto and it was also delicious. We went back a few days later for brick oven pizza and it... More

Had a fantastic meal at Giovanni's this evening. Food quality was very good (stuffed mushrooms, Clams, Veal Piccata and Eggplant Roll up). Staff was very friendly and the environment very lodgey. As others have noted, this is not a cookie cutter restaurant. Lots of interesting memorabilia on the walls and stuff to look at. We got very helpful advice from... More

First let me say the food was very good and the service was excellent. I would recomend you try it. Decent portions for the price. The bread was freshly made. The appetizers were good. The meals were very good. The dessert was great. BUT with that being said I can't figure out what was going on with the actual place... More
